Working with great colleagues, enjoying dinner with family, relaxing on the couch with the latest TV series, and crushing enemies in Counter-Strike alongside friends. I have a comfortable life, and it’s great – but comfort only lasts for so long. Even with everything I need to lead a fulfilling life, there’s still a lingering sense of purpose missing in the back of my mind. I know I have more to offer the world, but exactly what that is remains unclear.
This is why I’m committing to a journey of discovery, to explore my place in the digital world and to bring value to others – just as the world has brought comfort to me in countless ways. It’s time for a transition. It’s time to spend less time in the comfortable realm of consumption and focus on creating solutions that matter.
My background, experience, and interests span across a wide range of media and design fields. From photography, video, and audio, to illustrations, 3D modeling and animation, web development, music, and programming – the list goes on. But existing knowledge is not always enough. Continuous learning and growth will be key to unlocking my full potential. Moving forward, I want to shift my focus to development and explore how to efficiently create value for others in ways that were not possible before.
Starting today, I’m diving into the world of modern coding and shipping, with guidance from experienced entrepreneurs in the field. Marc Lou is a successful point of inspiration for this, so the next step in my journey will be completing his CodeFast course, followed by gaining hands-on experience with his boilerplate solution, ShipFast.
Past experience has taught me that committing to anything alone over the long term can lead to self-doubt. By being transparent about my efforts and thoughts, I’ll aim to provide valuable lessons to others while keeping myself on track.
